New Order Workflow Functionality Allows Admins to Set Daily Spend Caps

Ever wish your team could manage smaller purchases on their own, but still need to set restrictions on their purchase limits? Now, with our latest workflow feature on LennoxPros, you can! Previously, as a LennoxPros user, you either had the ability to place an order or you didn’t. With the new workflow features, account admins can set a daily purchase limit for any person on your account.

How to Set Purchase Limits

  1. From the Admin, MANAGE USERS screen, select a user in your account
  2. Edit the user’s permissions by selecting the red arrow and choosing EDIT
  3. Click on the USER PERMISSIONS tab
  4. If the user does not have the ability to place orders, Check 205-Place Orders to give this permission.
  5. For a user with the ability to place orders, you will now see a field called DAILY PURCHASE LIMIT
  6. Set the maximum daily purchase dollar amount in this field and SAVE changes to the user at the bottom of the page
  7. Users who can place orders but, have no limit in the DAILY PURCHASE LIMIT field, will have unlimited purchase power.
  8. Hello, Let's take a quick look at the new purchasing capabilities we have on LennoxPros.

    Previously as a LennoxPros user, you either had the ability to place an order or you didn’t. With the new workflow features, as an admin you now have the ability to set a spend limit for a person on your account.

    Simply set their purchasing limit by editing their permissions. The purchase limit is reset every day at midnight. The user can now login to their account and place orders.

    If you exceed the purchase limit you will receive an error message in the cart and you may have to contact your admin to either place the order or increase your spend limit. That's it!

What Happens if Limits are Hit?

Each user’s purchase limit is reset every day at midnight. If a user adds product to cart exceeding their purchase limit, they will see an error message and be unable to check out. To complete the order the user will have to contact their admin to either place the order or increase their daily spending limit.
